B Boutique is a sole trader business trading as B Boutique Cleethorpes. There is no company number because it is not a limited company — which is entirely normal for a shop this size.

When the order becomes a contract
Client input required
ASKED 2026-09-20. The answer was that it will not happen, and worst case she will organise it — which is a plan for the situation, not a term for this page. It leaves the page saying nothing about when the contract forms, and the default is then that it forms when the payment goes through. That is the WORSE position for her: it means a refund on a piece that sold over the counter an hour earlier is her breaking a contract rather than declining an offer. The wording protects her and costs nothing. Worth putting to her once more, in those words: 'Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm we have your piece and it is on its way — not when the payment goes through.' If she still says no, that is her decision and this block comes out — but it should be a decision, not a gap.
Prices and VAT
B Boutique is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and none is shown separately. The price you see is the price you pay.
Delivery is charged on top and is shown in your bag before you pay.
How you pay
Payment is taken by SumUp, on SumUp's own secure payment page. Your card details are entered there and never reach this website — we do not see them, receive them or store them at any point.
The amount you are charged is worked out on our own server from the pieces in your bag, not from anything your browser sends us.
How we knowRead from src/app/api/checkout/route.ts — the checkout is created through SumUp's hosted payment page, and the basket is priced server-side from the shop's own catalogue.
If a piece has already gone

ASKED 2026-09-20. The answer was 'sorted', which is a reassurance to us rather than a sentence a customer can read. This block needs the actual words she would say to somebody whose order she cannot fill: refund straight away and ring to apologise, or ring first and offer something similar? Two sentences of hers is all it takes, and it goes on the page verbatim.
